Gary Bennet is a multi-talented musician who plays many instruments but concentrates on keyboards, guitar, percussion and vocals. He has performed as a solo aritst at many venues in the area as well as performing with several groups most notably Blues Farm and The Buzztones amoung others.

Gary feels that listing his major influences tells all that needs to be known about him personally.

Keyboard Influences: Jimmy Smith  - The man that created the sound, feel, and groove forever associated with the Hammond Organ. 

Guitar Influences: Robben Ford – The best combination of Blues and Jazz possible. 

Vocal Influences: Kenny Rankin – Opened a complete new world of possibilities.   

Other Musical Influences: Allman Brothers, Eagles, Steely Dan, Chick Corea, Tony Z, Wes Montgomery,  Boz Scaggs,  James Taylor, Stevie Ray Vaughan, David Grisman, Kenny Loggins, Miles Davis, Robert Cray, Chet Baker, and Lorren Gonzalez.

Little(?) known fact. Gary (aka Shoeless Gary Bennett) likes to play sans shoes.
